All Things AI is a community for AI practitioners and users built on substance, inclusivity, and real-world impact. This Code of Conduct applies to everyone at our events — attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff — and in our online spaces, including community channels and event platforms.
The Short Version
Be professional. Be welcoming. Harassment isn't tolerated, in any form, toward anyone. If something's wrong, tell us — we will act.
Expected Behavior
- Treat everyone with respect and consideration, across every level of AI experience — from Fortune 500 leaders to indie builders to first-time attendees.
- Communicate openly and critique ideas, not people.
- Respect session rules on recording and photography, and others' stated preferences about being photographed or recorded.
- Follow venue rules and instructions from event staff.
Unacceptable Behavior
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form, including that related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or national origin.
- Verbal abuse, deliberate intimidation, stalking, or unwelcome following.
- Harassing photography or recording.
- Sustained disruption of talks, workshops, or other event activities.
- Unwelcome physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.
- Sponsor, exhibitor, or attendee use of sexualized images, activities, or materials, or otherwise creating a sexualized environment.

This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. Conduct that a reasonable person would consider inappropriate for a professional audience is covered.
Speakers and Content
Presentation materials and talks should be appropriate for a professional audience of diverse backgrounds. Sales pitches disguised as talks violate our "no vendor pitches" commitment; sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any venue or talk.
Reporting
If you experience or witness a violation, or have any other concern:
- At an event: find any staff member or volunteer (identifiable by [staff badge/shirt — confirm]), or come to the registration desk.
- Anytime: email info@allthingsai.org [or a dedicated conduct@ address — confirm]. Reports are handled discreetly, and you may report anonymously.
We will respect confidentiality requests to protect victims of abuse.
Enforcement
Event staff may take any action they deem appropriate, from a warning to expulsion from the event without refund, and, where warranted, exclusion from future events or referral to venue security or law enforcement. Participants asked to stop any behavior are expected to comply immediately.
Scope
This Code applies at all official event venues and event-related social activities, and in official online community spaces. It applies to conduct directed at community members even when it occurs outside these spaces, where that conduct threatens the safety or inclusion of members at our events.
